You will be part of a diverse and inclusive team that is focused on transforming the Volvo Group’s People and Culture. We are a team of subject matter experts and professionals across employee engagement, inclusion & diversity, health, safety and wellbeing, talent mobility & succession, performance & leadership, employee relations, total rewards, people services and Volvo Group University. We use these areas of expertise to drive for continuous improvement by collaborating with colleagues across the Volvo Group. Job Summary
Over the last years we have taken a new engagement approach and together with colleagues across Volvo Group, including the HR community we launched Volvo Group Pulse as a major channel to listen to our colleagues and take actions.
With the new People and Culture Strategy we have our People Commitment, to reach at least 35% women in both the total workforce and in leadership positions and you will be a key player in facilitating this evolution.
In this role you will also take the overall responsibility for defining the engagement, diversity and inclusion strategy and road map for the group together with all the key stakeholders and facilitating across TD/BA global initiatives. You will work with and through networks. You listen, support and lead our networks that cover engagement, diversity and inclusion.
You will inspire stakeholders and colleagues across the Group to be engaged and truly inclusive. You will also connect and engage with stakeholders to design the roadmaps, methods and tools to enable delivery of the People & Culture strategy and facilitate the change management activities.
You are expected to see the connections and links with all the other elements of People and Culture, including but not limited to recruitment, talents development, compensation & benefits, labor relations, competence shift, organizational development, and most importantly you are able to drive and connect the dots with the higher purpose of the Company.
You are ready to take on additional responsibilities that is assigned to you.
In this role you will report to the Head of Group People and Culture.
Who are you?
A committed, credible and trusted professional with a proven track record, including extensive HR experiences in global organizations. You specifically have experience in developing programs about engagement, diversity and inclusion. You are committed to collaborating, understanding the needs of a complex business, exploring solutions and sharing with many different local and global stakeholders. You are capable of driving results through people and networks internally and externally.
You have exceptional communication skills, coaching senior colleagues and communicating initiatives across teams. In addition to this, you have good self-management skills and work with energy, enthusiasm and flexibility.
You are highly adaptive and effective in both virtual and cross-cultural environment, and you have a good command of Office365 digital tools as well as proficiency of oral and written English.
