In the Head of Engineering position, you will streamline and grow the engineering department. The engineering department consists of 10 cross-functional teams of developers, managers, product owners, and architects, and you will be responsible for lead and grow this department to help us achieve our business goals. You will have the opportunity to make a big impact on the organization and you will report to our CTO.

What you will do in this position

• You will lead Benifys' R&D department delivering great technology and solutions to our customers and end users
• You will be responsible for capacity planning according to business requirements
• Delivery high quality and secure tech according to SLA and guidelines
• Attracting and recruiting engineering expertise according to identified delivery needs
• Developing and retaining software engineers
• Identifying and translating product and technical needs into performance objectives
• Developing our governance model for our development teams

Qualifications and personal attributes

Some experience you may have:

• Technical background with good software development skills
• Education in data/system science
• Managing leaders in the technical area, preferably in a medium/large company
• Recruitment and development of employees
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Another language is always welcome as we are a global company.
