Your role and profile

One major challenge for you is to develop and grow the engineering organization together with your management team and staff to become even more efficient and successful. You are also responsible for develop and execute on technical roadmaps. .

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Business Unit Radar Solutions is a business unit within Surveillance and has around 2 000 employees globally with its headquarter in Gothenburg with the largest international sites in USA and UAE.

You will be part of the business unit Radar Solutions management team and report to Head of Radar Solutions.



Engineering have design responsibility for all levels of subsystems for our radar portfolio, and for antenna and microwave subsystems to all radar and electronic warfare products for business area Surveillance, including support of all phases of delivery in the contracts. Engineering is responsible for delivering for customer commitments through our projects as well as defending steps in our technology. Software is becoming increasingly important in both our business and products. Currently around half of the engineers are working in the area of software.



Engineering with its 700 employees in Gothenburg and Lulea are now in an expansive phase. The key strategic areas are growth, customer focus and technical innovation.
