CDO function is a group of passionate and competent colleagues with the mission to drive GTO D&IT strategies forward and orchestrate GTO digital transformation strategy and plans in close collaboration with our business.
We have a strong set up with GTO D&IT capability target maps and target architecture for Manufacturing, Service Parts and Production Logistics. We are now in an exciting journey to set up a solid base to enable electromobility and enable future digitalization in close collaboration with GTO business.


We are now looking for the Head of Enterprise Architects


Role mission & context


As Head of Enterprise Architects (EA) you will have the responsibility to lead the EA`s transforming business visions, strategies and demands into enterprise architecture supporting GTO. This is done by identifying the change needed on business capabilities and IT solutions


To support the mission EA frameworks are provided by the group D&IT EA.


As Head of Enterprise Architects at GTO, you will carry the following responsibilities:
​​​​Develop next generation GTO target map for Electromobility, Circularity and Smart Factories
Continue to develop the GTO architecture to enable GTO strategic priorities
Develop the current GTO P&IT target map, trough enterprise architecture, to support the major IT initiatives at GTO and Group IT
Provide directions, runways, guidelines and elaboration of target architecture to projects or product teams.
Support in the definition of the Volvo Operation Concept
Develop and maintain the Order-to-Delivery Business Capabilities in collaboration with business owners
Cooperate with stakeholders to design architecture transformation roadmaps and decide on deviations.



You will lead a team of devoted colleagues but have a large global network as GTO operations are worldwide.

You will be the member of enterprise architectural boards and committees representing GTO.


Wanted profile


We are aiming for a senior enterprise architect with proven leadership experience that embraces the agile manifesto. In order to act as an enterprise architect at GTO you need to be able to cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.
You also have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy.


Required competencies


The candidate we are looking for should have a good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and skills in Enterprise Architecture with a clear emphasis on:
Business knowledge and excellent understanding of how the Order-to-Delivery process should be supported by Enterprise Architecture



We also see you have:
Relevant university degree
Strong leadership with genuine interest in developing and coaching your employees
Experiences from a digital transformation in a global organization is seen as an advantage
Experience from working with IT delivery organization
Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
Excellent communication & presentation skills is a requirement
