Head of Enterprise Development Centre of Excellence
SKF’s strategy is to provide our customers with reliable Rotation as a service (RaaS). To enable this, we develop the means to monitor, predict and improve the rotating performance of applications.
Working with the latest technology in mobile apps, big data and advanced analytics we provide our customers with the right information at the right time, so their operational decision making is quick and simple.
You will be building a high performing and collaborative global Enterprise team which focuses on the customer facing components as a key part of our Industrial Analytics & Software Development organization. Today the Enterprise organization consists of 65 people across sites globally distributed (Gothenburg and Luleå in Sweden, Bangalore in India, San Diego in US, Ukraine, and Russia).
To be able to bring these new generation digital solutions to the market we work agile, always focusing on delivering value to our customers.

• build generic visualization and interaction capabilities which support efficient process implementation both within SKF and at the customer
• allow for experimental and quick implementation of visualization needs
• create an open, fun and innovative organization with the aim to revolutionize the future of rotation

As a member of the management team of SKF’s Industrial Analytics & Software Development, you are actively engaged in stakeholder dialogues. You collaborate with other development centers, product management, sales and other functions to further develop and deliver our solutions. You also take an active role in technical direction, product prioritization, and quality work.
With your own management team you recruit and develop the organization, driving agile methodology. You set a clear path for your organization to operate effectively, creating a collaborative approach.

We expect you to have
• Proven leadership capabilities with ability to engage with others
• A strong business acumen
• A solid foundation in software development and product understanding
• Knowledge and/or experience in programming, especially front-end focused applications, microservices development and testing would be an advantage
• A good understanding of process industries where SKF operates
• Good experience of being a leader in an agile organization
• University degree, preferably in computer science or related field
• Excellent communication skills & fluency in English. Other language skills especially Mandarin would be an advantage

The Enterprise Development Centre of Excellence is a part of the Industrial software and analytics development which is part of SKF Connected Technology. Today the department consists of about 65 people in Gothenburg (main site), Luleå, SanDiego, Bangalore, Ukraine and Russia.
