The Opportunity
Join us as Head of Scania Experience Office and Experience Centre, contributing significantly to Scania's purpose. In this key role, you will head our guest management, oversee our showroom Marcus Wallenberg hall, lead guide operations and navigate the flow and prioritization for incoming event experience assignments together with our team. Additionally, your impact will extend to the future development of Scania’s visitor operating standard, where your team will play a vital role in delivering operational excellence daily.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and versatile leader to step into the role of Head of Scania Experience Office and Experience Centre to lead a diverse set of responsibilities under one umbrella. As a key player, you will manage a team handling various areas, including office management, prioritizing incoming assignments, guest management, guide coordination, staffing from the manning company, and overseeing the operations of the Scania Experience Centre, Marcus Wallenberg Hall, and the heritage vehicles. The aim is to deliver exceptional services and experiences, aligning with Scania's strategy and driving the shift towards sustainable mobility.
Respnsibilities
Lead a diverse team of 12 employees and 5 consultants, coordinating with various indirect team members.
Shape and enhance Scania's Experience Centre and Marcus Wallenberg Hall for optimal service conditions and impactful storytelling.
Manage the heritage vehicle fleet in line with Scania's vision, from procurement to maintenance and sales.
Plan and coordinate visits to showrooms and dedicated areas.
Understand assignors' needs, providing necessary support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Contribute actively to the development of the Event Experience department and Scania's communication strategy.
Have budget responsibility for the showroom, fleet, and maintenance.
Implement and secure systematic safety and work environment practices for Marcus Wallenberg Hall and our heritage vehicle workshop
Your profile

Requirements
Academic degree in marketing, communication, or equivalent.
Proficient in English and Swedish (spoken and written).
Minimum 7 years of proven leadership experience in departments with a broader scope.
Minimum 5 years of active work with change management.
Over 5 years of experience in handling external suppliers.
Has over 5 years of experience in the event, hospitality, or tourism industry, preferably also outside of Scania.
Advantageous to have experience of working in a flow oriented organisation in customer-facing operations.
