We are now looking to strengthening our Nordic team with a Head of Finance that will be driving and act as one the key drivers for strategic development and implementation for the Region.

Head of Finance for the Nordic Region

As our new Head of Finance Nordics you will report to Northern Europe area Director and your main responsibility will be to ensure a competent and committed team of Country Finance Managers and Business Controllers as well as efficient and business driven processes and models that supports business towards profitability and growth. This includes to facilitate, coach and control all finance activities throughout the region and ensure efficient implementation of group policies and routines.

To be able to do this you will have five direct reports; Country Finance Managers based in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Estonia as well as one Nordic Business Controller. The position is based at our office in Malmö.

Your responsibility will include:

- Ensure relevant Business Control Processes to steer profitability of the Area together with the regional Business Controller
- Collect and generate ideas based on needs from the group together with Country Finance Managers and organize the sharing of good practice within the group Finance community
- Support and supervise the country implementation and execution of group projects within finance and accounting
- Develop regional competence centers and ensure sharing of resources with the region and group in allegiance with the group standard and strategy


You will also be responsible for consolidating financial reports on a monthly basis and report, plan and execute the budget and forecast processes as well as securing the profitability of the region in close cooperation with the functional managers in the region.

Who are you

The ideal candidate has a university degree in business administration, finance, economics or accounting combined with several years of hands-on experience of a finance manager role, preferably in a multinational matrix organization.

As a person you need to be result-orientated, goal focused, and motivated by meeting high quality demands and deadlines. You also need to be good at and enjoy switching between operational, tactical as well as strategical matters and perspective.
