Head of Finance (HoC&F) Sweden
This role will head up the Sweden Finance organization and an accounting service team in St. Petersburg, Russia. The HoC&F will act as the representative of all finance functions within the existing legal entities in Sweden with a reporting line to the Regional Head of Finance (CE/EE/Nordics). The role will carry the responsibility for effective control and operation of the Finance & Accounting functions in Sweden.
Reporting and key relationships
Directly reports to the Regional Head of Finance (CE/EE/Nordics)
Closely work with the Accounting team in the Accounting and Finance Centre (AFC) in St. Petersburg who partly supports the accounting for Sweden
Closely work with the Management of the Company, Regional Managers of the Group, Finance/Accounting Managers throughout the entire Group of Companies and External Auditors
Other key relationships: *Country Manager Sweden and Baltics / *Business heads / *Global finance functions, i.e., Business Controlling, Group Accounting, Legal and compliance, Tax, Internal Control Systems and Treasury / *Internal Auditors and External Auditors
Key activities
Ensure maintenance of accurate and timely local finance ledgers
Ensure the period close, and reporting is timely and accurate (AX and HFM)
Ensure reporting is in full compliance with Group and IFRS policies and legal requirements
Ensure support on the preparation of robust annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Ensure that policies, procedures and systems defined by the global finance functions are fully implemented
Ensure to file the necessary VAT returns and tax returns timely and accurate
Act as the primary contact for finance/tax/legal topics to the local business and function heads and support where necessary
Overall ownership of Sweden cashflow and currency management in the region
Business partner for department heads
Raise potential financial, business, legal or other risks and opportunities proactively to global finance functions and regional/local business & function heads
Responsible for group and statutory audit process in Sweden

Responsible for managing the AFC for his/her respective functional area
Ensure close contact with various stakeholders inside and outside the finance organisation
Represent the finance organisation in ongoing projects within KuoniTumlare group
Knowledge, skills and experience
An International Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or a fully qualified ACCA/CIMA or similar is required
Demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and understanding of accounting principles including IFRS, Finish TAX & VAT compliance
Ability to work in a dynamic business environment, previous experience in the travel industry is desirable but not essential
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office - especially Excel - and Accounting Systems
