Optinova förstärker sitt Group Finance-team med en ny roll som Head of Global Accounting. Rollen är placerad på Åland eller i Uppsala. Du ansvarar för att leda arbetet med att harmonisera redovisningen, och att leda och förbättra bokslutsprocessen, och andra finansiella processer. Du trivs med att leda och utveckla team och driva förändring.

Vi söker dig som har ett starkt affärstänk, och en förmåga och ett intresse för att snabbt förstå nya affärsprocesser och översätta dem till finansiell struktur. Att du har erfarenhet av processutveckling är viktigt och du har även förmågan att kontinuerligt anpassa din organisation till förändringar som sker. Du uppskattar att jobba i en matrisorganisation under förändring. Du är en riktig lagspelare som med ditt energiska sätt får medarbetare med dig på resan.  

I rollen som Head of Global Accounting kommer du arbeta med och ansvara för att:

• Leda ett globalt team bestående av en direktrapporterande på Åland samt 5 finance managers/financial controllers lokaliserade utanför Åland
• Koncernkonsolidering och extern rapportering utförs efter uppsatta deadlines och med hög kvalitet
• Planera och samordna revisionen tillsammans med ansvariga i olika legala enheter
• Leda arbetet med utvecklingen av globala finansprocesser, och säkerställa utbildning av den globala finansorganisationen och övriga medarbetare som påverkas
• Upprätta styrelse- och ledningsrapportering i samarbete med business controllers och ledare i organisationen
• Delta i eller bidra med resurser i viktiga förändringsprojekt

Head of Global Accounting to Optinova Group

Optinova Group is a leading global supplier of advanced tubing solutions for medical and industrial use.

Optinova is strengthening its Group Finance team with a new role as Head of Global Accounting. The position is located in Åland or Uppsala. You are responsible to lead the continuous harmonization of accounting, and to lead and improve efficiency in the month end and year end close, and other financial processes. You enjoy leading and developing teams and driving change.

We are looking for someone with a strong business mindset, and the ability interest in quickly understanding new business processes. Having experience in process development is crucial, and you also possess the ability to continuously adapt your organization to a dynamic environment. You appreciate working in a matrix organization undergoing change. You are a real team player who with your energetic style gets people on board. Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

In the role of Head of Global Accounting, you will work with and be responsible for:

• Leading a global team consisting of one manager in Åland and 5 finance managers/financial controllers located outside Åland
• Ensuring that group consolidation and external reporting is performed according to set deadlines and with high quality
• Leading the development of global finance processes and ensure training of the global finance organization and others impacted. 
• Board and management reporting in collaboration with business controllers and leaders in the organization
• Participate or contribute with resources to important change projects
