Your role
As Head of Global Mobility at Saab you will be a member of the Compensation & Benefits team, reporting to the Vice President Compensation & Benefits, with responsibility for developing the operations in order to fulfil Saab's business demands for Global Mobility. As the leader of the Global Mobility- and Compliance Specialist team, you will design and lead global mobility strategy to address both excellent assignee experience and business needs while ensuring policies are met. The position requires you to be highly collaborative as you work closely with both internal and external partners. An understanding and experience of working with complex processes, and experience of a consultative approach will be key success factors.
Tasks include:
* Develop and maintain alignment for the global mobility policy and program guidelines ensuring industry competitiveness and compliance with legal, tax and local employment regulations
* Lead the Global Mobility team to be best in class in the deliveries
* Drive and lead different operational Mobility cases and projects as needed
* Providing strategic support to senior executives and key stakeholders
* Continuously assess, develop and improve global mobility processes, tools and policies to ensure an optimal, human centric experience for employees, managers and the Global Mobility team
* Proactively manage vendor performance to improve assignee experience.
* In partnership with the Compensation & Benefits team, identify efficiency gains and workflows to be managed in the HR Services portfolio
* Work with Payroll, Finance, Tax, Legal and HR to ensure correct data entry and expense management, including the coordination of relevant cross-charges
* Ensure compliance with country and local laws including tax, legal, and immigration statutory requirements
* Acting as the ambassador for the Mobility function on a group level
Your profile
To thrive in this role, you are a team player with excellent communication skills as well as the ability to inspire and lead people. You are structured and have a confident mindset enabling you to manage different circumstances. You will work both on a strategic and operational level in day-to-day business.
Required skills:
* University degree, preferably within Law or similar
* Minimum seven years' experience of global mobility related experience (either in a corporate or professional services environment)
* Strong knowledge with end-to-end global mobility processes including payroll, tax and social security and mobility data
* Demonstrated experience to lead a global mobility function
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
* Excellent organization and communication skills with ability for strategic mindset as well as attention to details, while focusing on stringent deadlines, managing concurrent high priority initiatives
* Sound taxation and immigration knowledge
* Demonstrated ability managing third party service provider relationships
* Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
* Problem solving skills
Meriting:
* Experience creating and implementing programs, processes and tools on a global scale to increase efficiency
* Knowledge in Swedish tax laws
* Experience and/or knowledge of HR processes, tools and benefit plans
Key success factors:
* A background as a consultant or a lawyer is an advantage when the understanding and experience of working with complex processes facilitates the work, and that a consultative approach is required
* Understanding of global/expatriate compensation, global and Swedish tax laws, and payroll function
* Experience with analytical work and good analytical skills, you need to be able to draw own conclusions after analyzing data and/or legislation
* Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and deadlines
* Deliver high quality and accuracy under time pressure
* Experience of working in an international company
* Experience from people management, project management and mentorship and/or coaching
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening review in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
