Who we are.
The Global Sustainability Team reports to the CEO. We are responsible for shaping the global strategy and guide its implementation, by focusing on cross-functional alignment and raising the ambition level in line with the decided strategy. We are also responsible for strengthening the internal governance and shape messaging towards relevant stakeholders. The total team consists of about 25 employees organized into three sub-teams: Climate Action, Circular Economy and Governance & Responsible Business. We are now looking for a Head of Governance & Responsible Business.
What you will do.
Lead and develop the team with the following responsibilities:
* Overall sustainability governance across the company to ensure effective planning, decision making and information sharing, incl preparation of decision files for SMT (Sustainability Management Team consisting of key sustainability repr across the company), GMT/EMT and BoD.
* Develop future strategies in Responsible Business, follow-up existing strategies and ensure that plans for corrective actions are put in place (employee wellbeing, human rights, contributions to sustainable society)
* Together with the Communications, Investor Relations and Public Affairs, lead stakeholder engagement and sustainability related advocacy in line with our sustainability strategy and CSRD requirements.
* Together with Communications, provide support for sustainability related internal and external communication, including webpage content, story development, position papers and events.
* Provide support to Finance in the development of sustainability in the Annual Report.
* Lead the development and integration of our environmental management system, thereby meeting the requirements of ISO14001 and CSDDD.
* together with subject matter experts, develop internal sustainability training and education for global use.
* Secure targeted rating levels in selected external sustainability ratings.
* Support on sustainability matters related to Financing.
* Manage corporate risks related to sustainability.
* Monitor societal developments.
Do you fit the profile?
* You are an experienced and resilient leader with demonstrated capability of cross-functional collaboration and ability to find the way in large corporate structures working with different management levels.
* You have a relevant university degree at master’s level and at least 10-15 years of work experience.
* You have a strategic mindset for a global environment.
* You are a good communicator with experience from internal & external communication.
* You are structured, data driven and result oriented with analytical skills.
The Head of Governance & Responsible Business will report to Vanessa Butani, Head of Global Sustainability starting April 1st and member of the GMT.
