Job Description

As Head of Group Accounting you are the expert when it comes to accounting, group reporting, audit processes and taxation. You are part of the financial team at the parent company at Stureplan in Stockholm, with responsibilities towards 15 markets in Europe and North America. The role reports to CFO Mediaplanet Group and will be responsible for one Financial Assistant.

Areas of Responsibilities

*Responsible for all accounting related issues on a group level
*Full monthly group consolidation for the Mediaplanet group
*Responsible for the group consolidation software
*Maintenance and development of existing group reporting package
*Leading internal and external audit assignments on subsidiaries throughout the year
*Deliver full financial information  monthly and for annual reports
*Accounting and reporting for groups parent company with support from Financial Assistant
*Support local finance on all levels of the organization
*Responsible for Swedish and international cross border taxation

Skills and Abilities

*Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting with 5 years relevant professional experience, preferably from accounting, group accounting and consolidation
*Experience of consolidation systems, preferably Cognos
*Advanced Excel user
*Fluent in English, written and spoken
