What you will be part of
You will be responzible of a small specialized team working with export control matters within the legal department at Saab corporate. You will be reporting to the Head of Group Legal Affairs. The corporate export compliance function is responsible for setting internal policies, directing the line organisation, supporting the line organisation in major businesses as well as leading the export control council within Saab in export control matters.



Your role
As Head of Group Export Compliance your main focus will be to lead and manage the export control function at Saab, this means

Taking a consultative and supportive role throughout the business process at Saabs different business areas, market areas and subsidiaries
Proactivly engage, nationally and internationally, with governments, ministries and agencies
Represent Saab towards governments, customers and suppliers both nationally and internationally to ensure that the necessary approvals can be obtained
Manage and control the export control activities at Saab
Acting expert function within Saab in complex and sensitive export control issues
Develop the necessary internal processes, regulations, instructions and tools
Drive continuous auditing services in all parts of Saab
Investigate incidents and establish actions

As Head of Group Export Complience you have two employees directly reporting to you as well as an operationally responsibility for Export Control Directors from the Business and Market Areas.

Your experiences and skills
You are an appreciated leader who has the ability to work result-oriented, both independently and in groups, with complex issues in challenging national and international environments under time pressure. The position requires well-developed diplomatic, strategic and analytical skills. You have a high level of integrity and ethical thinking, combined with an ability to make critical decisions on difficult issues. 
 It’s required that you have a legal, economic or an engineering university degree and several years of working experience in the area of export control.
It’s desirable that you have many years of experience and understanding of how the industry conducts business, including knowledge of the products as well as great insight and understanding of how the industry interacts with governments, departments, agencies, institutions and other relevant stakeholders eg. civil society.
You are fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing. In your role frequent travels is required, national and internationally, thus driving license is necessary.
