The Head of Group Sales Operations manages support services essential to sales force productivity. These include sales process governance and optimization, CRM tool development, sales reporting, training and selected bid management process implementation. You and your team will be responsible for operating sales process and tools in the Group level and cooperate with the network in Business units to take needed actions for improvement. Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders in the network to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization. You will be driving the sales process development and increasing the process compliance and knowledge within Tietoevry. Your team will follow on sales opportunities making sure that internal processes and steps are consistent and are properly qualified before they are signing a contract.
As Head of Sales Operations you will be responsible for:
Governance and KPIs
Development and Implementation of Opportunity Management Process governance, procedures and KPIs globally in Tietoevry
Work closely with sales management to drive sales process quality and prioritize possibilities for improvement
Assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitate an organization of continuous process improvement.
Track the KPIs related to opportunity management process and governance
Reporting
The Head of Sales Operations is responsible for sales analytics, sales tracking, sales effectiveness, and reporting of sales performance.
Develop the framework of Sales KPIs globally across organization
Develop and maintain specifications for sales reporting platform based on the predefined KPIs
Monitor and report of selected process KPIs (Global view)
Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization.
Recommend revisions to existing reports and ensure the development of new reporting tools as needed.
Tools
Implement enabling technologies, including CRM, to sales organization and existing technological landscape.
Monitor sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining quality of data in CRM.
Work closely with sales management to optimize the effectiveness of company’s technology investments.
Competence
Develop and maintain training curriculum for sales roles, including sales management and sales support personnel, in the supported sales organization.
Leadership behavior
Active promoter and role model for coaching and supporting people across roles/functions to succeed
Self-knowledge, curiosity and continuous learning in order to obtain common understanding of challenges and how to find the solution
Driving culture change and having a relentless focus on removing friction from collaboration mechanisms across the organization
Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree (PhD preferred) in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Project Management or any other business related field from an accredited institution.
Experience: A candidate for this position must have over 10 years in working experience in a sales operation department of a business in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment. Minimum five years experience in a sales environment in IT industry. The candidate will also have a proven and successful experience managing a cross-functional team across geographies and cultures. A suitable candidate will also demonstrate strong business acumen and have proven planning skills and executive presence.
Analytical skills: A candidate for this position must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and a passion for the insights that result from those analyses. Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
Technical domain skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM is a must for this position.
