We have a data-based proactive supply network management as well as a strong reactive capability – driving industry leading performance. We use digitalization to Monitor & Develop our suppliers into Trusted Partners, leading to full transparency and proactive visibility of risks during E2E processes. Supply Network Resiliency & Project Management (SNR&PM) Europe being the Strategic steering line for all SNR&PM purchasing activities within GTP, we organize a strong collaboration within SNR&PM network of purchasing teams spread across different sites/regions, and we are also the operational line responsible for SNR&PM Europe business all along specific process steps and areas (Vehicle stream roadmap coordination/product projects/program & supply capacity planning/supply partner development/crisis management).

What is your Mission?
As Purchasing Head of HD E-mobility Projects, your responsibility is to secure the readiness of E-mobility projects for HD scope working hands in hands with the Lines organizations. You represent GTP for HD scope in the cross functional fora’s such as Electric Propulsion Committee (EPC). You are leading the Gothenburg-based department gathering all E-mobility Project Managers Purchasing (PMPs). Size of the team is estimated to 6 to 8 PMPs and you will be able to do to the recruitment of some of your team members. You support GTP preparation in front of the Product governance (all product governance levels and up to Product Board) for HD E-mobility scope.
Main Responsibilities
You are responsible for the development, leadership, and engagement within your team as well as securing purchasing deliverables for HD E-mobility projects. You drive the department activities towards wanted position and secure needed communication with your main stakeholders. You are a key member of the Strategic Line for the GTP Project Management area, and you are a strong contributor within the Global Network of GTP Project organizations.
Other main Activities
Be a member in Supply Network Resiliency & Project Management (SNR&PM) Extended Purchasing Leadership team and in an active way contribute to the development of the department
Contribute to Product Roadmap providing GTP inputs (Brands, GTX) with strong coordination with Lines Organizations
Set targets and KPI fulfilment for the Purchasing Project organization
Coordinate purchasing QDCF-TSR deliverables according to plan for your team
Manage the development of your team
Secure and Manage resources within his/her area
Responsible for the budget & operating expenses
Work in accordance with the Volvo processes, the Code of Conduct, and the Volvo Values
