Vattenfall Network Solutions designs, builds, owns and operates climate-smart high voltage electrical network infrastructure. We take full responsibility for our client’s electrical needs by owning their networks and managing all compliance, regulatory and environmental issues.
Your role
We are looking for someone to join us as Head of Heavy Transport & Industry Solutions. This role requires you to understand the context that Vattenfall and Network Solutions operates in with the aim to drive the growth of fossil free power solutions in the heavy transport segment for all Vattenfall markets (Sweden, UK, Denmark & Netherlands). You will also develop and manage the new area of Industry solutions in the UK, Denmark and Netherlands.
Your team consists of three direct reporting managers; business development transport, business development industry and Delivery and Operations. You will also have two business developers reporting directly to you looking at decarbonization of the marine sector.. The team of 23 employees are located in Solna, Trollhättan, Luleå, London, Copenhagen and Amsterdam but will grow over time.
This role is placed within Network Solutions, reporting directly into the VP BU Network Solutions. As a member of the management team you will be highly involved in the strategic processes of Vattenfall Networks Solutions.
Main tasks
Drive the business development, sales and delivery for heavy transport in Vattenfall’s main markets – Sweden, Denmark, UK and Netherlands
Prepare and execute a plan for Vattenfall to drive fossil free within one generation for heavy transport including eRoads, buses, trucks, ships, ferries, aircrafts and transports on rails
Prepare and execute a plan for business development, sales and delivery for Industry Solutions for the UK, Denmark and Netherlands
Establish new teams within Vattenfall to deliver innovative solutions across different countries for Heavy transport (including Marine) and Industries (including battery, solar and EV)

Desired education and work experience
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field
Extensive experience in managerial positions
A widespread experience within business development and sales,
Experience in project delivery and operations in the electrical distribution business
Furthermore, you are fluent in Swedish and English (verbal and written).
