We are looking for a Progressive Business and Human Centric person to lead the People agenda for the function Operations and facilitate the cultural journey we are on in VCE.
Challenge description:
You will be instrumental in the Cultural Journey and facilitate the transformation of the ways of working leading and organizing connected to our Philosophy and our ambitions to have 100% involvement amongst all our 6500 colleagues working in Operations, in 14 locations over the world.
Your most important assignment is to guide the organizations and leaders to translate the business needs, Our Philosophy and strategies, into People, Culture and Competence implications and actions. It is essential to be curious to listen, learn and support the organization, get involved in the networks and follow the liveliness of our philosophy in our different locations.
You will play a key role in the Operations Management teams as well as our HR Management team and VCE HR Council where representatives from all major countries collaborate to balance the People agenda and develop the thinking and set way of work to support the company in relation to the overall strategy and Philosophy. We are curious and are looking forward to see what we can learn from you.
You will report to the Head of HR of Volvo CE. The location can be discussed, but a preference is Eskilstuna.
What we expect you to bring
You probably have 6-8 years of experience from a managerial role, developing and driving a holistic HR agenda in a global organization.
You have documented experience from and deep interest in cultural and organization development processes.
You have a deep self-awareness and a strong inner compass authentic and act with high integrity and support others to do the same.
You have a long-term holistic orientation, can handle critical thinking, complexity and systemic analysis and dilemmas. You see patterns, have ability to structure the unknown and support others to understand and build that capability.
You care for others and the world we live in. You build trustful relations and have empathy and true interest in people and business.
You are a collaborator and co-creator with communication skills, ability to listen to others, and foster genuine dialogue with different stakeholders and adapt communication to diverse groups.
You manage conflicts constructively. You are inclusive and generous in inviting and sharing your learnings and competence and equally a good listener.
You drive change and improvements with courage and stand up for your values and if needed challenge and disrupt existing structures and views.
You are creative and have an ability to generate and develop ideas. You have a positive attitude and confidence in the possibility of meaningful change.
You engage at all levels of the organization and move with ease from strategical dialogues to hands on matters.
