Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions is a business area segment within Sandvik Group with around 1500 employees worldwide and incorporating the three divisions of Design & Planning Automation, Additive Manufacturing and Metrology. Right now, we’re looking for an experienced, business minded and forward thinking Division HR Manager to join us in a stimulating position where you have the strategic and operational responsibility and take full ownership of the HR delivery within the Design and Planning Automation division.
The job
Your main mission is to enhance organizational performance from an HR perspective and in alignment with business needs. You guide and advise us as you develop and implement an HR strategy closely linked to our overall business strategy, and you promote HR ways of working that supports innovation and commercialization. You also ensure global talent acquisitions and talent management to attract and retain exceptional competence for all our business units. You’rere responsible for a wide range of HR matters in a new and growing organization, including focus on performance management, change management, integration of distinct cultures as our high growth ambition includes mergers & acquisitions. Supporting our shift strategy to become employer of choice, contributing in exciting change projects and amplifying quality of leadership are focus areas – and not to forget the importance of enhancing employee engagement.
You’re actively looking to identify and implement value added HR processes that support the development of the business, embracing best HR practices in a digital innovative arena and a pragmatic approach to doing business. Further, you develop networks and establish partnerships, both internally and in relevant industries and universities, and you liaise with HR contacts across the globe to ensure alignment with local legislation and agreements. In this role, you’re an important member of SMF HR functional management network and take an active part in forums and networks collaborating within Sandvik HR community.
You report to the President of Design and Planning Automation (DPA) and actively contribute in DPA management team. Location for this role is preferably Stockholm, Sweden, but other locations can also be considered for the right candidate. Global travel is a natural part of the job.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with an academic background within HR and more importantly – an extensive working career within this field. Your personality truly makes the difference! You’re a natural leader and a committed doer who comfortably takes charge when needed, and with a structured way of working combined with analytical thinking, you’re able to always stay one step ahead. You have a successful history of coaching people in an international setting, as well as of working with management teams. Your grounded and friendly approach motivates your co-workers, and your communicative skills allows you to easily gain trust and respect and to build strong, long-lasting relationships with both co-workers and external parties. As we’re a global player, you naturally need advanced skills in English.
You also have solid experience from leading HR projects and a profound knowledge of HR processes and systems. You take pride in bringing an inclusive perspective where differences are both considered and valued. All in all, you inspire us to be an employer of choice.
