About the job
You’ll be joining a company that has set the foundation for growth and lead our HR Technology function with the goal of keeping our HR information landscape up to date. Together with a dedicated team, you’re responsible for the daily operations of our HCMS, securing that the business has the relevant support and tools, and driving our common digital HR agenda. As the link between IT and HR, you shape the digital strategy and roadmap for HR and strengthen our framework for workforce analytics and reporting. Your responsibility includes data privacy and support, and you ensure that everything we do supports our company strategy.
Sandvik is a decentralized organization and you work in close cooperation with business leaders and HR. You’re responsible for forming and establishing our new HR Technology Forum, where topics such as data privacy, strategies, our architectural landscape, and frameworks are on the agenda. Keeping up with market trends and best practices in the area of digitalization and HR technology is important, and you share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels.
You report to, and act in close collaboration with Executive Vice President & Head of Human resources, and you’re valued partner in the HR Management team. You’ll be located in Stockholm or other Sandvik site in Sweden and occasional travel to our business units around the world is part of the job.
Your profile
We’re looking for an experienced leader with broad knowledge of IT systems and data management, preferably in connection to HR, who has worked both strategically and operationally in a global environment for several years. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and confidence in a decentralized organization with stakeholders at different levels. You have a strong interest in new digital solutions and experience from using Workday or similar systems. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.


You’re structured and pragmatic, and you capture opportunities without losing track of our direction. With a strategic and holistic view, you respond timely on business requirements and have the ability to act based on business priorities, both in urgent, short-term and long-term objectives. In all of your work, you rely on strong stakeholder management and great collaborations, and you empower people to find efficient solutions, new perspectives and share best practices.
