Your role

As Head of HR Aeronautics, you will play a key role in the ongoing development of HR initiatives, going from words to action and making our People strategy a sustainable reality!

Via the HR staff, which consists of both specialists and HR Business Partners, you will lead and be overall responsible for HR within the Business Area by developing and converting strategies and strategic objectives to functional targets and action plans.

Your main tasks are to drive our people and strategic workforce planning agenda in close cooperation with the business, and implement the Saab people strategy in order for us to attract and develop the right competencies for current and future challenges.

This includes working actively with succession planning, including long term attract-, recruit- and develop-plans for core areas; promote sustainable self-leadership and support continuous learning and development; focus on our inclusive and supportive leadership, on building talent pipeline and overall leadership excellence - taking us from Words to Action.

Your profile

Your driving forces are to develop organizations, managers and personnel in order to strengthen our capabilities and create results. You have the courage and ability to initiate and drive changes. You have energy and endurance and are a team-player with good judgement and maturity. With curiosity and lack of prestige you find it easy to cooperate, but are also used to working independently.

We believe you have a number of years of experience within HR, as well as management experience, and a proven track record as a communicative leader- formal as well as informal. You have an analytical and structured way of working, interact well with stakeholders and colleagues across cultural barriers.

You have relevant academic educational background. International experience is a plus. You are eager to continue to develop, and find Saab as your employer of choice. You have a track record of continuous development, and enjoy working close to the business. You are passionate about HR and people development. Excellent knowledge in Swedish and English, both verbally and written.

We are a geographically dispersed organization, travelling is part of the job and a driver's license necessary.

What you will be a part of

The HR department consists of four areas, OHS, Strategic HR Development, HRBP-org and Learning/Training Center with a total number of approximately 30 employees. This is a position where you take on a leading role in the ongoing People & Digital Transformation journey within Saab. At Aeronautics we are passionate about doing business, and we are proud to be a part of Saab mega-deals and in parallel deliver the daily small- and medium sized businesses.

Creating solutions for our customers is in our DNA, and our people make it happen. It is vital that you embrace our view on leadership and really walk the talk when it comes to living our values! In parallel of being an important member in the BA Management Team and lead the BA HR-team, you are also expected to be an active member in Saab HR Council.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
