Are you interested in a role where you will lead the Industrial Development (ID) department at Galderma in Uppsala? As Head of ID your main focus will be to enable a capacity build-up for improvement and transfer of manufacturing processes for existing products as well as new product technologies. You will report to the Head of Operations and will be a member in the site leadership team, and will have four managers reporting to you.

Responsibilities

You will lead the department of Industrial Development to ensure that technical innovation is the top priority, making sure that we have the capacity for scaleup of existing products as well as introduction of new products and microbiological methods. You will actively drive and support improvement of the business and work processes, and will have full responsibility for deliveries within set business frames and connected GMP, SHE, Quality and Financial requirements. Your responsibilities include:

Setting and follow-up the direction and long-term goals for the site through collaboration in the leadership team including steering committees

Leading the technical development within the area, liaising with Galderma Global and applicable industry forums and meetings
*

Ensuring continuous improvements and technical support to applicable parts of the organization, as well as assigning and delegating tasks to meet project and activity plans
*

Securing required competencies for the future by providing development opportunities for current employees, as well as recruiting top talents to the department
*

Developing and administrating the budget for the department including project budget plans
*

Provide technical expertise to support the organization as well as leading critical projects/initiatives and driving the technical development in applicable areas
*

Ensure awareness and compliance with Quality/SHE policies and connected laws and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role you have at least five years' experience from management positions and solid experience from process/industrial development and scale-up activities. Documented experience from medical device or pharmaceutical industries, substantial experience of working in cross-functional projects, and leading activities/projects in industrial environment is a requirement. Experience of working in a global setting and previous experience in leading through managers is strongly meriting.

You likely have an academic education within Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or similar and are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
