The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and will require some travel to our different sites worldwide.
What will you do?
As Head of Industrialization, you will be leading a global organization consisting of 8 local teams based in our plants worldwide, delivering the highest standard in house manufactured HV batteries, electric motors, electric drive axles and power electronics units.
The main responsibility for Industrialization is to implement vehicle programs, change orders and process changes in respective production site. The Industrialization team also actively participates in the work to define and maintain technical and commercial strategies within each area. The Director for Industrialization reports directly to the ME department Head and as part of the management team you are not only representing your team but are also expected to bring both ideas and engagement for the complete unit.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for a true leader with high ambitions and great interest in both developing people, Manufacturing Engineering and the Global Industrialization Organization.
We believe you possess strong leadership skills as well as an interest and ability to motivate, coach and develop people and teams around you. You empower and challenge your team and want to see people grow but also lead them and strive to reduce hurdles for them.
To be successful you need to be a team-oriented person with good communication and cooperation, as well as pedagogical skills. Since you will lead a global team your preferred working area is in a global organization with cross functional teams. The right candidate has a structured way of working and likes to plan in a strategic way with a holistic approach.
It is meritorious if you have the experience of leading other leaders. It is also meritorious if you have a global experience from leading in change and if you have knowledge and capability of lean tools and techniques.
You encourage new thinking in those around you and you build excitement to explore the possibilities of new ways of working. You know to translate the excitement into positive action through feedback and encouragement giving your team the latitude to get the work done.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required for the role.
