You will become a key resource in the security function, whose fundamental mission is to direct, control and support the management of security risks that occur in our business, in order to ensure compliance and maintain a sound balance between risks and opportunities.



Your role
The Head of Information Security is in charge of providing line management, functional management, leadership and strategic direction. Your fundamental mission is to ensure the protection of Saab`s, our customers and nations critical information assets. Your mission is to support the Head of Security to bring Saab's information security risks under explicit management control. 
One of your main responsibilities is to develop, implement and monitor an efficient global information security management program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information owned, controlled or processed by Saab, aligned with ISM, ISO/IEC 27000 and ISO/IEC 31000. 
You will also facilitate and monitor the implementation of effective information-, communication- and IT- security practices through collaboration with other group functions.

Your skills and experience
This position requires a visionary leader with strong leadership and communications skills, as well as a high level of expertise within information security. The ideal candidate for this role will be a consensus builder with drive and integrity, an integrator of people, processes and technology in a fast-moving environment. Information security management and risk management qualifications are highly desirable as well as corporate security, and site security. The position require knowledge in corporate governance and project management. You will need experience in compliance oriented work with applicable laws, regulations, standards as well as governmental instructions for security protection. Saab is a global company so travelling, domestic and global, is expected, sometimes with short notice.
We think that the applicant has a master's degree in computer science, information technology or equal professional experience from governmental or private sector. You have combined experience in information related security and risk management. You have a vast experience working with IT-security guidelines and requirements as outlined or as driven by security protection laws and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27000 etc. 
Information security and risk management qualifications and certifications are highly desirable for example; CISSP, CISM, GCIH, COMSEC etc. 
Skills;

Excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
Proven ability to interact well with both stakeholders and colleagues and to work across cultural barriers.
Ability to communicate security and risks to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Critical thinker with integrity as well as strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to pass background screening, Swedish security clearance, credit screening, and drug tests etc.
