Instabox is a growing tech startup that wants to change the logistics industry. We deliver your parcel to one of our smart boxes, seven days a week, as it should be. You pick it up with a pin code, without ever having to spend a second waiting in line.

We started in 2015 with the first line of code written in a small basement in Stockholm. Today, we can proudly say that we still write our own code and that we now have over 400 smart boxes across the country.

Oh, and did we mention that our users are super-mega-extra-happy? No joke!

We break new ground on a daily basis and our users keep getting amazed by our fast and convenient express deliveries. To facilitate our future growth, we are now looking to strengthen our International Expansion team. If you want to play a pivotal role in our future journey, this is the job for you!

Job Description

As the Head of International Expansion you will help drive our long-term agenda, while ensuring we capture opportunities along the way. You will build a world-class expansion team, leading the work of preparing for and successfully entering multiple new markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Build and lead the Expansion team (at HQ). Recruit, motivate and develop the talent needed to successfully expand our business to new markets. Set the team up for success through providing the right direction and adding the needed resources and skills. Develop a working structure of reviews to build accountability and accelerate progress.
- Analyze key markets and define GTM strategy. Develop a deep understanding of the specific conditions in prioritized markets, how we will best serve each market and what our approach to successfully enter the market would be.
- Prepare for market entry. Secure local partnerships, assemble the first elements of the local teams and set up the basic administrative structure in new markets.
- Lead expansions. Lead the local teams when they drive the day-to-day execution to launch and scale Instabox. Ensure the local teams get ownership and are held accountable, but also that they get the right support and resources needed in order to minimize time from launch to scale-up.
- Develop and own our Expansion Playbook. Document key learnings for new markets to use in order to decrease time to profitability.
- Act opportunistically: Quickly assess key opportunities and risks during our expansion efforts, and take initiative to capture new opportunities.


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an analytical, result-oriented and positive person who gets motivated by exploring new opportunities in a fast-moving environment. You have a strong business sense, paired with a high ability to break complex problems into a few determining factors (and act pragmatically). You are a strong leader with great communicative and interpersonal skills, and are used to manage complex projects as well as to take full ownership of the process and results.

What you will need:

- At least 4-5 years of relevant work experience in Strategy and/or Growth/International Expansion
- Background likely from one of the top tier management consultancy firms or from a similar performance-driven environment, alternatively from playing a significant role in a successful startup
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
