About the position

We are looking for a new colleague who will take on the role as Head of IT E.ON Customer Solutions. In this role you will have a huge impact in driving the digital transformation in our businesses within Energy Sales, Heating & Cooling, PV & eMobility and Local energy solutions. To your help you will have a team of 120 highly motivated people, both employees (7 direct reporting) and consultants.

As Head of IT Customer Solutions, you will be a part of the management team of Business Development & Technology, a unit with responsibility for Strategy & Innovation, Business IT & digital, and Operational Excellence in the Nordic countries. You will, together with the top managers of our different business areas, drive our digital transformation which is the most important success factor for E.ONs future. You will also have close collaboration with the E.ON Digital Technology (EDT) team within E.ON Group and be a part of the international EDT Customer Solutions management team in order to optimize and scale IT solutions throughout the E.ON Group.

Examples of your responsibilities,
* IT operations, support, and infrastructure for the Nordic Customers Solutions business
* Maintenance and development of existing system landscape
* IT performance and IT budget management
* IT security and compliance
* Optimizing and scaling group-wide IT solutions, working closely together with IT colleagues throughout the E.ON Group
* Driving digital transformation throughout our businesses, with IT and businesses working closely together
* Building and improving IT capabilities within digital sales/CRM, data analytics, cloud, process automation/RPA/machine learning, as well as digitalization of our asset management
* Developing our IT organization to be even more customer oriented, agile, performance driven and cooperative with increased DevOps thinking

E.ON Customer Solutions in the Nordic will for the coming years run a large transformation program within Sales/CRM/Billing with ambition to move out from our legacy systems into a state-of-the-art modern system landscape. As Head of IT Customer Solutions, you will have the overall responsibility for the delivery, budget, and performance of the transformation program.

You will report to Director of Business Development &Technology, Christian Roos. Christian’s leadership is characterized by openness, clarity, collaboration, and a strong commitment to make a difference. He will give you a high level of freedom to build and develop your area of responsibility, and he expects from you that you will lead IT Customer Solutions with a high level of commitment and a genuine will to make a difference for our customers and businesses.

About you

You will have the opportunity to lead the digital transformation of one the leading energy companies in the Nordics. To be successful in the role, you of course need to have high technical competence within IT/digital, both on strategic and operational level, and you need experience of leading an IT organization on a digital transformation journey in cooperation with many stakeholders. You probably have experience in transforming a legacy IT-landscape into modern digital and customer-oriented solutions and it is positive if you have experience from a large customer and service organization like an energy company, retailer, bank, insurance company, telecom etc.

You are a senior leader that inspire your employees by your knowledge, your personal impact and trusting way of being. Since you will have accountability for a significant IT budget, you have prior experience of handling a large IT investment portfolio and delivering projects and operations with high focus on financial targets.

To thrive in this position, you need to have a natural curiosity for building personal relations throughout our organization, enabling us to be better together, both IT and the business together in the Nordics as well as IT within the E.ON Group. You have the energy and clarity needed to lead a large IT organization and you are a true role model and ambassador for digital transformation on all levels of our organization.
