In the role as Head of IT development you are at the forefront of eCommerce with responsibility for leading, developing and deploying the Pricing and Product IT strategy across Pierce.
At the core of your role, you ensure that Pierce as a company is managing and improving the pricing and product processes in a first class IT environment. Pricing and product management both are heart of eCommerce success and in this role you will contribute considerably to a best in class customer experience, if you do it right. In doing so you are continuously building and securing the development capability in terms of organisation and processes, systems, and underlying data sources in close cooperation with functional lead in other departments.
In your day-to-day job you are also responsible for:
- Mobilizing the right people and adopting the right procedures, structures, and methodologies to make sure to deliver a positive customer experience in XLMOTO, 24MX and Sledstore 24/7/365.
- Also simplifying everyday work for colleagues working in Category, Product Information, Pricing and eCommerce process
- Driving the technical improvements of tools and standards within IT development across Pierce
You will be leading a growing development team of 8 employees and additional consultants as of today. The team is based in Stockholm, Sweden and Szczecin, Poland.
To be successful in the role we believe that you are technically driven, possesses a strong drive for change and are an excellent collaborator and communicator. You are a curios person with a high interest in people management.
Job Requirements & Desired Experience and Qualifications

University degree or equivalent in relevant area

Fluent in English with any of Swedish or Polish as a plus

5+ years of experience with driving IT development

5+ Years of Medium sized team management experience

Experience from Online Sales/eCommerce or Retail is considered a plus
