YOUR WORKDAY
As Head of IT Finance Portfolio you will have a global responsibility, leading the digital transformation within the Finance IT arena. You will be part of a leadership team in a unit called Solution Area Enterprise Systems, responsible for Ericsson´s Group Enterprise solutions. In this team you will find a group of very dedicated and skilled professionals working closely together, sharing strategies and experiences, and making sure the different domains are cooperating in the best possible way. Their work is characterized by pragmatism and a down-to-earth way of doing things, as well as a strong growth mindset.

As Head of IT Finance Portfolio your main objective is to lead, inspire and motivate your team, as well as to help and support them to grow, professionally and personally. In doing so you are fulfilling the most important responsibility of the role, to steer the delivery of the value streams within the Finance area.

The IT Finance Portfolio team, reporting directly to you, consists of a dozen senior Finance technology professionals, working mostly as Strategic and Technical Product Managers. They are handling the day-to-day work concerning the transformation of the application landscape supporting the Finance domain and will often interact with both IT and Business colleagues in other areas (Supply, Finance, Product Lifecycle management - to name a few).
Your most important stakeholder organization is Group Function Finance at Ericsson. Together with the Finance colleagues, we are moving closer to ‘fusion’ delivery, where we collaborate cross-functionally for business and societal progress.

You are an important decision maker with respect to what is to be built and you have the responsibility to understand our users, the marketplace, the competition, the technology, and future trends. In short, you are heading the Vision towards the Finance domain.

Here is a summary of your tasks as Head of IT Finance Portfolio:

- Lead a team of Finance technology senior professionals directly reporting to you
- Be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of the Finance technology footprint
- Streamline program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of features or components for the team. Ensuring that projects already planned, and in-progress are built in alignment with IT Architecture- Information & IT Security standards and are well documented.
- Co-own or own large transformational initiatives aimed at transforming the Enterprise IT landscape towards a composable footprint
- Be responsible for maximizing the returns of our investments i.e., economic profit
- Ensure value is delivered within the portfolio using Lean-Agile principles and own the business relationship
- Take on several roles, including business strategist, product designer, market analyst, customer liaison, project manager, operations lead - to deliver incremental, measurable outputs in shorter time frames

To feel comfortable as Head of IT Finance Portfolio we believe the most important properties are that you have a strong growth mindset and that you are a learner that finds enjoyment in going beyond the current performance. Furthermore, we believe that you like to start things and are comfortable with changing circumstances and work patterns. To be able to find joy in your everyday work you need to have strong skills in communication, presentation and leadership, as well as having very developed organizational and time management skills. Skills & experiences needed in the role:

- 5-10+ years' experience in a Leadership position
- Working experience in a similar Role such as Lean/Agile/DevSecOps Portfolio Manager
- Experience in one or more of the Business processes within the IT Finance area - e.g., financial reporting, Tax & Compliance, Treasury, Financial Planning etc.
- Working experience with Enterprise systems & application landscape ERP and other finance related applications, more specifically SAP
- Experience in Cloud transformation
- Ability to communicate effectively at executive level
- In-depth knowledge in Lean - Agile process and principles
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)


Meritorious

- Have a university education level within Telecommunication, Information Technology and Electronics or similar
- Proven record in leading large operational organizations
- SAFe experience or certificate
- Experience of AWS environments/AWS transformation
