About the job

We are on the lookout for a Head of IT Operations who together with the IT & Digitalization Leadership team will set the strategy for IT Operations and build an IT organization that meets and enables our fast-growing business needs and future strategy.

As Head of IT Operations, you will have the responsibility of leading and developing IT Operations within our cutting-edge IT organization we are building. IT Operations will have a great impact on our future success and will work with a clear cloud first strategy.

You will take lead in executing the strategy within IT Operations as well as implementing processes, way of working and technical standards to be able to support our global operations and high growth.

As a person we expect you to think big, take charge and be a role model always acting with the interest of Polarium as we are one.

About you

- Comprehensive knowledge of essential IT functions including IT support, device management, network infrastructure, telecommunications, and vendor management


- Good experience in cloud computing and tools, preferably Microsoft’s technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, a related field or equivalent practical experience
- +10 years’ experience of the IT industry
- Experienced people leader
- ITIL certification desirable

You will

- Ensure and develop essential IT Operations, including IT Support, equipment (e.g., laptops, mobile devices), software/hardware, infrastructure, network, cloud services, collaboration and workplace tools
- Help build highly scalable, secure, and reliable systems infrastructure
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT and ITIL processes within area
- Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with internal resources and external providers
- Tactical and operational ownership of IT services and infrastructure within IT Operations
- Partner with the security function to ensure security, compliance policies, standards and processes are met
- Help hire a team of IT professionals who are focused on delivering world class experience and support to employees
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to maximize value
