Arbetsbeskrivning
Hallon is a sister operator of the mobile operator Tre and started in May 2013. The core concept of hallon is based on simplicity; It should be easy to be our customer. We have no binding time, no notice period, no invoices and always fixed price. In 2018, we moved our business to a completely new house next to Globen in the south of Stockholm, where all of us at hallon and Tre will be given better opportunities to meet and interact. Welcome to hallon.
We are now looking for a new Head of IT operations and development and offer the right candidate the opportunity to be part of a strong, friendly team, out on an amazing journey, driven by out of the box thinking, start-up mentality and hard work.
As hallon’s Head of IT operations and development, you will play a key role in the acceleration of hallon’s growth agenda. You define and lead the execution of the technical strategy for all technology platforms as well as lead and develop the IT department (today consisting of seven employees). You are also responsible for the cooperation with external teams, e.g. web agency, and billing platform provider.
You report to the CCO of hallon and will be part of hallon’s management team.
Your new role
As Head of IT, you are responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy, for all technology platforms operated within hallon. You are expected to continue to build a top technology team, consisting of both operational and development resources. It’s your job to manage, operate and develop the highly motivated dev/ops team, following agile processes in a Microsoft environment using .Net and C#. Daily, you oversee development projects, both in-house and with external teams, and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner with excellent quality.
You react on technology changes to ensure that hallon continuously is given the competitive edge required. Being responsible for our CAPEX budget, you own and manage all partnerships with external IT suppliers.
As you play a key role in hallon’s management team you will be working closely together with your management colleagues in order to develop and grow the overall business.
At hallon, we are a tight team where all professions work closely together to achieve our overall goals. We share knowledge and insights with each other and expect you to contribute by having an open mindset and generously share your experience and competence with your colleagues.
Professional qualifications
As hallon is a fast-paced company that grows continuously, it is important that you have the courage, energy and willingness to run with us and enjoy challenging yourself. You are a strategic thinker with a can do-attitude and have great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. You can combine long term focus with short term focus and enjoy playing a key role in the overall business. The overall success of hallon is just as important for you as the success of the IT department.
As an experienced and passionate leader, you have proven capability to lead and develop successful teams. You believe in the power of strong teams and a high focus on employee engagement comes natural for you.
You thrive in a department with talented colleagues and are a team player who works well in a busy, fast paced environment with few identical days. Further on, you have knowledge in software development and know how to deliver software quickly in a startup environment.
You hold a BSc/MSc in Computer Engineering or equivalent. Experience from the commercial side of business is an advantage, as well as understanding Swedish.
As a member of the hallon family, you’ll have access to our company gym, flexible public holidays, a yearly wellness grant, lunch discount, occupational pension, seminars, choir singing, education, parties to celebrate our success as well as colleagues and much, much more. That is a part of our culture. A culture which we are very proud of and now hoping that you would like to join!
