TAG IT is in the process of maturing how we work with vendors to ensure successful realisation of our business and IT goals. As a leader in IT procurement & vendor management you will be pivotal in ensuring the success of the team through leading the team and making sure that we simplify the way IT procurement, vendor management and contract management is performed, that we execute on our priorities and that we support the TAG growth journey through enabling the realisation of our IT strategy.
Your overarching goal will be to ensure that we, as a team, capture and realise increased value from sourcing IT services and products from our vendors.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Manage and lead the employees in the team ensuring
o Recruitment of open positions
o Onboarding of new employees
o People management of the team members in accordance with TAG guidelines and policies
o Ongoing training and upskilling of employees to ensure that they are fully capable of performing their obligations
o Set priorities and goals for the team and individual contributors in order to ensure that we deliver on goals and KPI’s
· Proactively drive towards fulfilling the KPI’s of the team
o Simplify how we work with vendors through consolidation, harmonisation, standardisation and digitalisation.
o Efficiently execute IT sourcing deals to secure a high level of cost avoidance and P&L savings
o Support the growth journey by ensuring that we create value from working with vendors through focused vendors and contract management.
· Ensure that the team understands the overall IT strategy, how it supports the TAG future@work reloaded strategy and how the team contributes to the realisation of this
· Work with your team to execute on the day to day priorities, ensuring that you lead from the front and act as a light tower to your employees
· Work with the rest of the IT procurement & vendors management leadership team to build delivery excellence through standardising deliverables, building data transparency and digitalising the teams,
· Work with the rest of the IT procurement & vendors management leadership team to build centre of competences through defining best practices and guiding the teams on how to adopt
· Work with the rest of the IT procurement & vendors management leadership team to simplify interaction with IT stakeholders through formalising the operating model both regionally and globally for IT procurement, vendor & contract management.
· Adhere to Adecco Group policies, processes and guidelines.
· Work with peers and colleagues across the organisation to mature, monitor, educate and adhere to group procurement policies
· Represent TAG IT in ongoing interactions with IT vendors
· You will work with your leader to define the specific priorities of your leadership role and individual contribution to the team KPI’s
· Vendor management:
o Proactively manage key vendors and participate in the continuous evolution of IT Vendor Management at TAG
o Build and maintain key vendor management artefact for the vendors you manage
o Run bi-yearly vendor assessments and satisfaction surveys for the managed vendors
o Maintain executive reporting and drive executive meetings for selected managed vendors
o Drive tactical meetings and day to day relationship with managed vendors and internal stakeholders
o Act as the TAG primary point of contact between in relation to issues and disputes.
o Facilitate dispute mediation arising from operational, tactic or strategic topics in close collaboration with contract management, IT, and support functions like legal or procurement
· IT procurement:
o Drive development and maintenance of a sourcing strategies for the categories or areas you cover
o Manage relevant IT stakeholders to ensure that we have a continuously updated demand overview
o Build and maintain a prioritised 24 month pipeline of procurement activities within your category or areas
o Drive execution of prioritised procurement deals within you category or areas, in close collaboration with your colleagues, IT functions and key support functions like legal and finance
o Manage and report on IT spend in your category or areas in alignment with team KPI’s
o Drive consolidation and simplification IT sourcing to ensure that we reduce procurement transactions and time to contract
o Drive cost avoidance and P&L savings in accordance to personal goals for your category or areas.
· Contract management
o Reactively manage contract disputes and changes in your category or areas in order to avoid or limit value leakage.
o Guide delivery teams and IT finance on how to operationally manage deliverables, obligations and contract financials
o Act as point of escalation for operational level in case of doubts on how to interpret contracts
o Manage and report on value leakage mitigation in your category or areas in alignment with team KPI’s
Build and maintain key contract management artefacts for the contracts you manage
About you
At least 10 years of experience within IT procurement, vendor management, contract management and/or strategic IT sourcing.
Good understanding of best practice vendor management, IT procurement, contract management and IT sourcing processes.
Experience as advisor for leaders and executives and/or as a team leader for specialists. Experience within negotiating complex IT contracts and/or transactional procurement.
With a masters degree with focus on commercial law and or IT. You will also communicate mainly in English which is preferred languages and a requirement for this role. Some traveling is also expected for this position.
