The CIO Office at Sandvik is a strategic part of our IT organization - the mission for the CIO Office is to ensure a commonality throughout Sandvik Group IT within strategic areas. We are now looking for a Head of IT Security, a strategic role in an international company where you use your experience and proactivity to ensure a secure global IT environment. This position is to be located in Sandviken or Kista; if choosing Kista, you will need to be able to travel to Sandviken a few days per week.

Job Summary
As Head of IT Security you are responsible for establishing, building and developing the overall global IT Security organization with regard to governance, organization and functions. You ensure an efficient implementation, follow up on the IT Security strategy and manage strategic areas for office and production IT by improving our IT Security principles and standards. In this position, you act on your strategic thinking in developing and maintaining the IT Security strategy, including IT Security vision and high-level objectives.

Important aspects of your job include managing IT security awareness, in collaboration with Information Security and Business IT Security Officers, as well as the demand for IT Security and IT Security-related information on our Intranet. Furthermore, you interface with Information Security, Group Assurance, and IT Risk Management and you ensure appropriate mitigation and handling of IT security risks.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with an MBA or other Master's degree, or equivalent experience gained from previous work assignments. You have a solid IT security background from a similar role and at least five years' experience from a global environment. Leadership skills and team management knowledge are required in this role, and you have great communication and collaboration skills and business understanding. Relevant IT Security certifications (i.e., ISC 2, GIAC, or ISACA) and project management skills are advantageous. As we act in a global environment, your English skills are excellent, in both speaking and writing.
