Head of IT to Geely Business Center

Do you have a passion for IT and leadership? Do you want to be a part of building the next generation of shared IT services? Geely Business Center is now looking for their next Head of IT with placement in Gothenburg.

THE ROLE:
As Head of IT Services, you will be responsible for leading and developing the IT Function in the newly established Geely Business Center, GBC. This role is a great opportunity to be part of building and developing the GBC business, focusing on IT Services.

As the new Head of IT Services, you will work both strategically and operationally in building and developing GBCs IT Service for our existing and future clients within the Geely Group.

You will lead five Line Managers with a total of about 60 people within the area of Digital Ability and Engagement, Exploration and Digital Experience, Client operation and Continuity, Digital Collaboration and Security, and Corporate applications and SAP.

To succeed as the new Head of IT Service, you need to be a curious changemaker and thrive in a varied environment. You will need strong technical knowledge as well as a genuine business understanding. It is also important to have great people management skills.

Furthermore, we see that you have the following:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Business administration and/or IT management or related fields

Experience from line manager positions

Minimum of 10+ years of experience within IT and IT Service

Working knowledge of multiple IT disciplines e.g Business analyst, Account management, and Delivery management

Good knowledge in ITIL processes and Agile way of working

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience working in an international environment and communicating in English.
