As the Head of Last Mile you play a key role within NA-KD in making sure that our customers are provided with the best possible customer experience. You are ultimately responsible for all outbound and return deliveries, setting up the delivery strategies in all focus markets and globally as well as being responsible for key KPIs such as lead time and customer satisfaction as well as costs.
You will be heading our Last Mile team and you will work closely with other departments within the company, contributing to excellent daily operations as well as continuous development. You will be reporting to VP Operations
Your Future
- Responsible for all our outbound and return shipments globally for both ecommerce and wholesale
- Setting up, maintaining and developing our Last Mile strategy - securing that we have the right carriers/services, fast and high qualitative deliveries and smooth return processes at a good cost
- Follow, act on and deliver key KPIs such as lead time, customer satisfaction and quality. Internally and together with carriers
- Responsible for controlling postage costs and to continuously work on cost improvements over time
- Responsible for maintaining and developing our relation with carriers and other external stakeholders as well as handling price and quality negotiations
- Being on top of market development and trends in all our key markets to make sure that NA-KDs offers the best possible service to our customers
- Responsible for the full customer journey after a complete purchase including checkout, track & trace, return portal as well as communication and satisfaction follow-ups
- Working closely with other departments within Operations such as Fulfilment & Customer Support making sure that daily operations is running smooth
- Managing joint projects together with other departments within Operations, Product & Engineering, Marketing etc. to continuously improve the customer journey
- Heading the Last Mile team currently consisting of two Last Mile Coordinators
- Responsible for customs setup and costs outside EU
Your Past & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- +5 years relevant work experience from ecommerce, last mile, operations, supply chain, retail or other relevant area
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Good communication and negotiations skills
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast moving environment
- Managerial experience is a plus
Location
The position is based in HQ in Gothenburg or in our Stockholm office, Sweden, with occasional travel to our warehouses in Helmond, Netherlands and Landskrona, Sweden.
