Competence Development and Delivery is now looking for a Head of Learning Development & Digitalization driving the overall competence development continuous improvement roadmap utilizing modern learning methods and delivery tools.

The Competence Development & Delivery function is supporting our dealers with competence in areas like: Aftersales commercial, Sales and Aftersales technical. You will be part of a great team that is passionate about creating customer value, finding new ways of working and enabling success together.
You will be part of the Competence Development & Delivery Management team for Region Europe and International and also work in extended networks with colleagues across many parts of Volvo CE, Volvo Group as well as external partners in the Learning and Development field.
Role description
Competence Development & Delivery is the center of competence for learning within Volvo CE. Under your leadership and in close collaboration with our stakeholders, we provide flexible and tailored learning solutions and methods for our distribution network.
As the Head of Learning Development and Digitalization you will lead a team of talented co-workers leading and guiding the change journey towards a strong learning culture.
Who are you?
In this role, you will have plenty of different activities going on and therefore you need strong change management and leadership skills.
A high customer focus and a “can do” mindset will make collaborations with your stakeholders natural. Understanding learners needs and exploring exciting solutions will drive the design and development of attractive learning solutions.
We believe you have a continuous improvement mindset with the ability and willingness to step outside the comfort zone and challenge the status quo.
You have good understanding of corporate and adult learning methodologies. You are a strong supporter of digitalization as an enabler for new training delivery methods and tools.
Preferably you have good knowledge of construction equipment and it´s commercial aspects.
Since many of your stakeholders are international, your English skills are on a top level.
Education Required
Bachelor or higher education level required, degree in business or learning and development and/or equivalent experience from similar position
