Are you a business driven and pragmatic Legal Counsel that likes to challenge your colleagues, partners and customers in solving legal issues? Do you have a broad skillset, including experience from competition law, contract law and the marketing law, and want to join us on our journey? Then you might be our new Head of Legal!
As Head of Legal at Carlsberg you are working in a broad role with responsibility for supporting the local organization in all legal matters such as contract law, competition law, marketing law, IP law, GDPR etc. You are the leader of a team containing one full time Legal Counsel and one part time Legal Assistants. You are reporting to VP Legal Western Europe and have a dotted line to CFO Carlsberg Sverige.
Other responsibilities as Head of Legal at Carlsberg Sverige:
To drive and ensure implementation of the company’s legal compliance agenda including training of the local organization in competition law, anti-bribery and corruption, GDPR, alcohol marketing law etc.
Responsible for Corporate Governance and secretary of the local boards;
To handle contacts with external legal counsels in legal disputes and other legal matters.

What we wish from you:
Swedish LL.M (Jur. Kand./Juristexamen) or international equivalent with around seven years’ experience containing law firm experience and experience of working as legal counsel within an international company. You have great knowledge within competition law, contract law and marketing law. Benefitable if you have been working within wine and spirits, FMCG or retail with the knowledge of marketing and alcohol legislation.


As a person you are a great communicator with excellent skills in providing advice to all local functions. You are a result-oriented person with a high integrity and drive and a good knowledge in how to prioritize and delegate to reach the goals. If you are our next Head of Legal, you are detailed oriented and structured in your way of working. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
