As Head of Logistics Sustainability within Global Logistics you will be responsible for the logistics sustainability strategy and goals. We are looking for you who are an ambassador of our values and eager to put logistics is in the forefront within the sustainability area. You will work in close collaboration with many stakeholders, such as the Global Logistics management team, Group Sustainability, regional counterparts and external partners. As part of fast-growing business, the day to day is varied – you switch seamlessly between operative and strategic actions.
Key responsibilities
· Drive the development of Logistics sustainability
· Set, drive and follow up the logistics sustainability strategy, goals and standards
· Identify and actively develop sustainability opportunities and initiatives and provide recommendations in energy, climate and social sustainability related questions
· Identify and manage sustainability expectations of internal and external stakeholders
· Initiate, support and follow up of global and regional sustainability projects
· Set and develop a close collaboration and way of working with regional counterparts
· Keep up to date with developments/innovations in sustainability
· Together with relevant functions, drive information, activities and trainings on sustainability to inspire and engage colleagues
· Interact and ensure cross-functional teamwork with all relevant departments and stakeholders
· Connect and maintain good relations with relevant external stakeholders
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we believe you have effective communication skills with the ability to bring others onboard through inspiring, clear and inclusive communication. This since you will talk directly to both global functions and country management regarding issues and opportunities, always ensuring that you agree on a collaborative plan. You have the ambition and capabilities to integrate sustainability into everything we do and have a track record of promoting sustainability to improve our business. You are curious and flexible in your approach, making it possible to see the bigger picture. Analytical, planning and prioritizing skills are key in the role as well as the ability to challenge and take initiative.
To succeed in the role, we also believe you to have:
· A degree in business and/or engineering focusing on sustainability and environmental questions or equivalent work experience
· Experience from driving cross-functional sustainability projects, preferably in an international environment
· Strong understanding of social, economic and environmental sustainability impact of Logistics operations
· Experience from strategic development and implementation of sustainability on a global level
· Change management experience from multinational implementations
· You are self-directed with an ability to navigate within the organization, managing a large number of points of contact
· Excellent skills in stakeholder management
· Clear and inspiring communication and presentation skills, including fluent written and spoken English
Additional information This is a full-time position located in Stockholm. Travel will be included in the position.
