Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The group Management Financial reporting within Corporate Control supports Scania Executive board and Finance & Business Control with financial information and follow-up up of Scania´s two segment Vehicles & Services and Financial services.
Our task is to maintain and develop Scania financial information and secure that it is relevant and qualitative. We are also reporting to our parent company Traton. We do this through focus on;
• Reporting, analysis and steering of Vehicles & Services and Financial services
• Work with the Scania group business model, short & long term follow-up and adaption and development
• Compliance to accounting and reporting principles.
You will be manager of a group of 7 persons and report to head of Group reporting and control. Your workplace is situated in the head office in Södertälje. As head of Management financial reporting you will have a lot of contacts within Scania and also towards Traton.
Job summary
Your work task will include to lead and plan the activities for the group within its responsibility areas. You will secure relevant reporting and well-functioning reporting processes. You will lead the group and the co-workers towards established goals with starting point from Scania core values and principles, and also support your co-workers in their competence development.

• Analysis and follow-up of the Vehicles & Services and Financial services
• Drive projects and investigations within the financial reporting and control area within Scania CV
• Ad-hoc analysis
• Continues development regarding reporting, follow-up and process
Your profile
We are looking for a person with a degree in finance or business with around 10 years’ experience and a few years as a manger. Experience could be from financial reporting in an international group or similar. We believe that you have a great interest in accounting, financial reporting and controlling as well as like to work with process development and continuous improvements. It’s a merit if you have knowledge about Scania and VW reporting systems. You are an experienced Excel and PowerPoint user, further in general knowledgeable in IT. Since we work in a global environment, you need to be able to communicate in both English and Swedish.
Personal skills
We believe that you are a person who likes structure and is accurate. To be able to solve complex tasks you need to be analytical as a person and have high problem solving skills. You are used to work towards goals and drive change projects which means that you have a high delivery capacity. As manager you work with your team to motivate and develop an efficient team. A service-minded and solution-oriented attitude is something we place great value in, therefore you need to have both social and communicative skills since the position will expose you to internal and external contacts.
