Head of Marketing & Communications

We're looking for a key figure who wants to join Animals.ai on our journey to accelerate precision livestock farming. Animals.ai offers AI-based animal behavior monitoring solutions to bring farm management to the next level. As a key figure, you will join our journey to visualize farm animal behaviors globally through Computer Vision and Deep Learning. You will report directly to the Chief Executive and will be a key member of the new senior leadership team.


What you’ll be doing
Brand marketing
Define clear, bold branding strategy to drive awareness and high impact brand positioning. Ensuring you are able to adapt the global strategy to regional needs
Define target customer audience and relentlessly build brand strategy to target them
Develop and own marketing budget for the region
Own and apply competitive intelligence on innovation in Europe and China
Ideate and execute marketing initiatives that deliver on brand awareness and ROI

Media and Partnerships
Define media strategy
Define clear, bold partnership strategy - brand, retail and commercial partnerships
Lead end-to-end relationship building with key partners from ideation to execution

Social Media & Community
Define clear, bold social media strategy to drive high impact market positioning and build highly unique engaged community
Own the strategy and planning for local influencer activities
Lead high impact pilots across new media platforms

Public relations & SEO
Define clear, bold PR strategy to drive high impact market positioning
Identify key platforms and generate engaging press coverage in line with positioning
Support on high impact data-driven strategy to drive optimized SEO traffic

Acquisition
Ensure consistent paid marketing strategy to strengthen market positioning
Plan on paid marketing initiatives and ROI
Pilot out of the box partnerships and projects to drive acquisition innovation.



Who you are
+8 years marketing and PR experience ideally in High-tech industry
A strong level of passion to effectively tell Animals.ai’s story
Ambitious self-starter that is proactive and results driven
Thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments, a hustler
Strong attention to detail and not afraid to roll-up sleeves and lead by example
Master’s degree in marketing or communications
Strong knowledge of the AI industry and consumer landscape
Experience managing budgets/ marketing P&L
Network of relevant media editors is a plus
Passion for sustainable agriculture is a plus
Fluency in English and Chinese is required; Nordic language experience is a plus.
