The role as Head of Marketing & Communications
As Head of Marketing & Communications, you will work with a data-driven approach (and high ambitions) to drive top-line revenue growth. Leadership comes naturally to you as you love people management. You will build and manage a modern, high-performing marketing & communications team.
Marketing and communication to you are to enable sales and scale the impact of our business and product. You will work closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to plan and execute long- and short-term strategies that drive incremental opportunities to increase impact and revenue. This role means having the big picture as well as getting into the details and supporting the marketing and communication team in everyday operational activities.
You will also:
- Lead and, together with the marketing & communications team, execute on go-to-market planning, launch planning, pipeline marketing (lead management, lead scoring), data analysis, market research, and revenue growth
- Together with the CMO and the marketing & communications team, set the strategy and plan for all marketing initiatives to achieve revenue goals and deliver successful ROI
- In collaboration with the CMO, hire, grow, and develop our amazing marketing and communications team with high-performing marketers and inspire them to deliver against marketing & company goals daily
- Give team members the tools, guidance, and confidence to deliver against marketing & company goals, always evolve and grow together with us
- With the support of the CMO, manage all aspects of marketing (planning, budgeting, metrics, and reporting)
- Review forecast and manage risks proactively together with our CMO
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and improve processes as well as drive and execute our go-to-market strategy
- As a key contributor, drive and foster true collaboration across teams
- Stay up to date with the latest in SaaS B2B marketing and other for the role, relevant areas (and, of course, share your knowledge with your team and colleagues).
We are looking for you who:
- Have at least seven years of well-rounded, relevant B2B and SaaS marketing experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team (minimum 3+ years)
- Experience in leading teams with a focus on measurable results and maximum ROI
- Extensive experience in performance marketing, developing marketing KPIs and metrics, and marketing attribution models
- Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan that leverages data to reach or exceed its goals
- Hands-on experience in driving go-to-market strategies, launch planning, and pipeline marketing
- Strong stakeholders management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Effective at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly evolving scale-up
- Highly analytical - able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics to approach marketing strategy & spend while not losing sight of the brand
- Strong skills and great experience in brand marketing, direct marketing, lead generation, and product marketing (including campaign creation and management, messaging/positioning, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEO/SEM), partner marketing, field/event marketing, customer marketing etc.)
- Extremely strong communication English (Swedish is a bouns), spoken and written,
- Well-versed in digital knowledge and understanding of the evolving media and martech landscape
- Hands-on experience in working with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot.
