Are you passionate about transforming services into a competitive advantage? We're seeking an innovative and strategic thinker to fill the role of Head of Marketing & Communications for our Services Division.
In this pivotal role, you will work as a Marketing & Communications Business Partner for the Services Division. Responsibilities include positioning and communicating Services as a competitive edge for Kalmar, as well as developing and executing data-driven marketing processes, concepts, and communication activities aimed at various stakeholders. These stakeholders encompass customers, partners, investors and analysts, as well as current and future employees.
This is a hybrid position with possible location at Kalmar major sites in Finland or Sweden and occasional worldwide travel is required.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Create Marketing & Communications strategy for Kalmar Services in line with the Kalmar Marketing & Communications strategy and implement it across the Services portfolio as well as internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with Services Business Lines and Kalmar Regions to create and execute go-to-market strategies and plans, actively positioning our Services offering to bolster global Services sales for both existing and prospective customers
Strategise and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives to generate leads for Services sales
Foster the adoption and utilisation of Kalmar’s digital services and solutions, including e-commerce, internally and externally
Spearhead Kalmar’s thought leadership on Services-related themes and topics, initiating proactive content marketing activities across digital channels, conferences, and industry events
Ensure alignment and consistency of the Kalmar brand in Services-related touchpoints and channels
Collaborate with the Services Leadership Team as a team member, and drive strategy, change, and internal communication within the Services organisation
Support Head of Services and the Services Leadership Team in stakeholder communication, including participation in investor events and other engagements
Partner closely with other Kalmar Divisions to enhance service sales across the entire Kalmar portfolio
Develop annual marketing plans, manage budgets, and conduct follow-ups for the Services Division
Fulfil Line Manager duties with one direct report.


What you’ll need to succeed
Education
University degree in marketing or related field.



Experience
Approximately 10 years of experience from B2B marketing & communications preferably in a global industrial environment
Experience from Services marketing is a benefit.

Simultaneously, your role involves driving the execution of these strategies across different stakeholder groups
Customer-centric: Your aim is to engage with our customers, thoroughly comprehend their needs, and prioritise boosting sales while enhancing customer engagement through value-based marketing and communications
Results-driven: Demonstrating a track record of developing and executing targeted marketing programs, concepts, and lead generation campaigns within specified deadlines, budgets, and set targets. Your focus remains consistently on achieving results, spanning from planning to execution
Content marketing expertise: Proficient in crafting compelling content tailored for diverse stakeholders and channels, fostering thought leadership within our industry. Additionally, you possess fluency in writing English
Digitally savvy: Profound understanding of digital and interactive marketing concepts and technologies, encompassing social media, web, mobile, and AI
Self-driven: Capable of swiftly accomplishing tasks independently and in a structured manner. Your proactive and transparent communication style extends across various stakeholders
Team player: Collaborative work with senior executives in the Services Division, Business Lines, and Regions is integral. Furthermore, you play a key role within the global Kalmar Marketing and Communications team, and are able to bring together individuals from diverse organisational units
Passionate: Combining a creative yet analytical mindset, you exhibit passion for our business and industry, setting high standards. Embracing a can-do attitude, you're open to experimentation.
