Sony in Lund is one of Europe´s largest Sony development sites, which has global responsibility for research and development. Focusing on Innovation, new businesses, software development, European operator partners and Customer services, our employees are contributing to the development of Smartphones, Visual Products, IoT-solutions and new business domains.
The newly established organization in Europe; Sony Network Communications Europe (SNCE) is ramping up for growth. Therefore, we are looking for Head of one of the New Businesses IoT to lead the business development and sales in Lund. In Sony Network Communications Europe (SNCE) new promising IoT solutions are nurtured and scaled to their fullest potential. Each business domain includes members with competence in product development, business development, sales and marketing.

About the position
As Head of one of the New Businesses IoT in the SNCE organization you will:
• Be responsible for leading and coaching the sales and development team
• Manage the resources needed to launch, market and grow the new IoT solutions
• Seek and define new business opportunities within the business domain
• Define and drive the Business plan
• Find, collaborate and negotiate with new business Partners globally
• Lead the products line to achieve targeted P/L goals
• Report directly to the head of SNCE, Shigehiko Nishizawa

You will be based on our headquarter in Lund and international travelling will be required, frequent at times.

Qualifications
You probably hold a university degree in business studies or similar and have a former experience from startups, the information/communication industry. Recognized strong leadership skills in people management is also a requirement for the position. Your personality is equally important, and we assume you are a self-driven and highly motivated person, proactively proposing solutions and setting the agenda.

We value your experience in leading business creation, go to market and growth. You have a proven track record of taking products from a development stage to a profitable business.

Since you will communicate strategies and business plans with partners, we expect you to have excellent communication skills and you need to be fluent in English.As a person you are driven, curious, business minded, open for new challenges, with a growth mindset. It is equally important that you are structured with ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
