The purpose of the Operational Development (OD) is to drive the implementation of efficiency - focused Sales and Marketing organization within Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications. This will require planning and development of the underlying processes and platforms to create a balance between high performance and resources and, over time, drive quantifiable improvements using the internal performance benchmark and best practice. Description of duties: . Based on the business strategy set our by Sales and Marketing management, create performance enhancing programs and projects to increase the internal efficiency at the Sony Ericsson Sales and Marketing organization. Concentrate on improving sales efficiency and productivity through a program of continuous improvement, such as processes, tools and competence development . Be accountable for the execution of these programs to ensure that the required and expected business benefits are delivered. Also responsible to drive and develop the Change Management Framework, which the person chosen for this role will be accountable for. . Execution and development of the Best Practice program within Sales & Marketing . Execution of the internal audit programme for maximised value for Sales & Marketing . Manage the Sales and Marketing OD network resources using a structured framework of meetings and workshops. To ensure that the competence from the regions and global functions are well fit into the strategic sales and marketing development plan and use the network to drive changes into the organization . Support improvement of the quality management system (ISO 9000) as a strategic business tool . Proactively support and drive improvements across functional borders together with other Sony Ericsson OD functions and initiatives together with the direct interfaces to Sales and Marketing . Ensure that corporate OD standards are deployed within Sales and Marketing and that these standards are communicated and consistently applied Qualifications: You need to have at least 10 years documented general business experience and at least 5 years experience in driving projects in a matrix-led, multi-national organisation. Further you need to have documented experience of working with performance and process improvement as well as experience from Sales. A degree-level education, i.e. Master of Science or Master of Economics, is preferred. You have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and should be able to spend approximately one week per month abroad. As a person you are driven, structured, inspire confidence and have excellent collaboration skills. You also possess leadership qualities.
