Do you want to play a decisive part in making groundbreaking solutions? We are hiring a Head of Operational Product Lifecycle Management.
The department Operational Product Lifecycle Management is a part of Project Management Office (PMO) in CEVT. Apart from this team, PMO also consists of project management functions and an operational development team. In PMO we are acting in an international and multi-cultural environment just as in CEVT as a hole. Operational Product Lifecycle Management is a department with approx. 10 team members and the responsibilities are within the release and documentation area of our products to secure Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). This team is responsible for design support, configuration and variant management and part management (BOM build). We are now looking for a Head of the department.
The role
The manager role consists of both managing the team as well as operative work. You will lead and drive your team including performance management, competence development and recruitment. You will need to provide coaching and guidance to employees to ensure deliveries and personal development. We expect you to lead the team in accordance with CEVT Leadership Manifesto; Courage, Trust and Care.
You are also expected to lead and plan the operative work and deliveries in the development projects. Furthermore, to participate in operational improvements as well as actively contribute to the PMO management team and to strategic PLM work. Here you will not only be responsible for maintaining what is already in place, but you will have great opportunities to develop and roll out improved processes and procedures. For this role, you will be based at our office in Lindholmen, Gothenburg but travels may occur occasionally
The start date for this position is August 1 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Required background and experience:
- 5-10 years of experience from working within product development preferably within the automotive industry.
- M. Sc. within mechanical /electrical engineering or similar.
- Relevant experience within PLM and release management, preferable within automotive and knowledge about BOMs, product documentation, variant management and change management.
- CEVT is using Teamcenter as PLM tool so know how about Teamcenter is good to have.
