Head of Operations

ValueOne is recruiting a Head of Operations for our customer ROL Ergo AB in Jönköping. Today, ROL offers, among other things, self-developed software and hardware solutions to manage and analyze different types of spaces and resources, in offices, in retail, public environments and more, ergonomically optimized office furniture and store concept solutions. ROL products are offered globally both through our own sales organization but also through distributors and have a turnover of approximately SEK 2 billion and have over 900 employees in 10 different countries.

The role

The position as Head of Operations means that you are responsible for the budget and performance of Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Sourcing and Purchasing at ROL. You are to direct the strategic path for Operations and establish and follow KPI:s. Your responsibility also covers Health & Security development for each manufacturing site as well as investments in capacity and efficiency.

As Head of Operations you are part of the management team in ROL Group and report to CEO.

Main tasks:

Controlling and driving the strategic work within Operations.  
Deliver cost reductions in manufacturing, quality, logistics and sourcing.
Develop processes and tools to reach the targets.
Develop the employees direct reporting.

Experience and competencies

The person we are looking for must have a minimum of five years leadership experience and a proven record in manufacturing, quality, logistics and sourcing, with emphasis on production. We also expect up to have a master´s degree in technology, Supply Chain Management or equal and a background from multi-site and international companies, preferably automotive. Furthermore, you are used to working with sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The role demands a high level of communication and relationship building skills with proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish and any other European language is desired as well as knowledge in Excel. You apply a pragmatic leadership style that make things happen. As a person you are analytical and customer oriented with a solid understanding of both the commercial and operations side of the company.
