Axiell is looking for a manager for Hosting and Cloud Operations. Group IT is Axiell Group’s global organization for hosting, cloud services and internal IT services. Axiell have several hosting centers (hubs) as well as a couple of smaller hosting environments in different parts of the world. Axiell’s main hosting hubs are in Malmö in Sweden, Maarssen in Holland and Ashburn, outside Washington in the US. The main part of Group IT’s operations is about the delivery of hosted software and cloud services to customers, but Group IT is also responsible for Axiell’s internal IT and technical support.

Main responsibilities
As the Head of operations, you will be leading Group IT in its daily activities, but you will also be responsible developing and leading Group IT into the future. Working with the transition from the more traditional hosting of our older products and systems, to the cloud hosting of our new SaaS products, with the challenges and possibilities associated with the transition to a DevOps organization and CI/CD, which is currently being implemented by Axiell. You will also be responsible for implementing the related quality work and certification processes, including security and compliance to national and international laws and regulations related to hosting on our different markets.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role we think you have experience from working with hosting at an operational level, as a system administrator or likewise, as well as experience from managing a team. You are expected to have a thorough technical knowledge, being able to participate in technical discussions in order to be well informed in the technical decisions that will be a part of the role. You have an academic exam in computer science, informatics or similar. Experience from working within a DevOps organization and with technology and processes for CI/CD is a merit as well is experience from working with the ISO 2700-x. It is preferred that you have relevant experience from working with some of the following technologies that we use in our hosting and cloud operations.

- Ansible/Puppet


As a person, you are communicative with a good portion of social skills. You should be a leader rather than just a manager. We expect you to be a person that like to learn and evolve in your role, while working independently in leading your organization. Our working language is English, and you are expected to speak and write in English at a high level.
