We’re looking for a fearless and enthusiastic growth hacker who is ready to take FirstVet’s growth via paid user acquisition to the next level. FirstVet is growing fast and in order to facilitate our global expansion, we’re strengthening our marketing team with our first in-house Head of Paid User Acquisition. As FirstVet’s Head of Paid User Acquisition you’ll shape our in-house strategy and process regarding paid user acquisition for our two main business areas: our e-commerce and video app. You’ll be at the forefront of our initiatives driving growth through acquisition of new users worldwide, working closely with the Country Managers, Marketing Leads, Analysts and other marketing experts. You'll be in charge of large budgets and are expected to reach ambitious goals globally, with an emphasis on the US, UK, Germany and Sweden. You’re a self-starter who enjoys strategy as much as working hands-on in the advertising tools. We believe that you currently work with digital growth at a marketing agency or in-house at a B2C company, e.g. within consumer services and apps, e-commerce or subscriptions.
As FirstVet’s Head of Paid User Acquisition, you’ll work closely with our team of marketers and subject experts to optimize towards low Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and high Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). You’ll work towards pre-defined Life Time Value (LTV) and other relevant KPI:s.
Your responsibilities:
Making growth projections based on available targets, budget and data, together with C-level leaders and Country Marketing Leads
Responsible for developing, managing and following up on campaigns that drive users via paid channels, such as Google Search and Bing
Campaign optimization will include: bid strategy, keyword research and optimization, copy improvements, landing page recommendations
Effectively manage campaign expenses by staying on budget, estimate upcoming monthly costs and reconcile any discrepancies you might identify
Identify trends, collect insights, recommend and implement tests
Research and competitor analysis
KPI tracking, analyzing and reporting to internal stakeholders
Manage our relationship with Google. Facebook, and other relevant media representatives
You are the sole owner of the annual user acquisition budget for seven international markets
Requirements:
5 years of hands-on experience with Performance Marketing and Google Paid Search
Proven track record in driving traffic, conversion and optimization of campaigns
Is up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Google Adwords and Bing
Confidence in using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and other analytical tools such as Adjust, Appfigures, FireBase and Google Datastudio.
Experience from Facebook Business Manager, including Instagram advertising
Previous experience in working with consumer apps and consumer e-commerce for international brands
Fluency in English
Communication skills: you are clear and straight to the point in your reporting and recommendations
Apart from the above-mentioned requirements, it goes without saying that an interest in animals is a benefit. We’re a pet-orientated organization and it’s not unusual for a dog or cat to join our Zoom calls.
