Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. As the current position holder is moving on to a new role, we’re now looking for a passionate colleague to join the People and Culture team for the Enabling Functions at Scania. We´re a group of 18 P&C professionals working close to all the business areas who enable Scania to be the great company that it is today (Finance, Communication, IT and other Corporate Functions).

About the job and what we can offer you
Scania IT is a crucial enabler for our transformation, ensuring flexible and efficient IT solutions that support both current and future business requirements – and You will be heading the P&C team helping Scania IT succeed with this mission. Your department (HVD) has 10 skilled professionals in different roles (mostly HRBP´s, but also roles connected to SHE area).
You will be part of the business management team (Scania IT) as well as our People & Culture team, reporting to the Head of People & Culture for Enabling functions.
Together with your team, you´re expected to drive the strategic, tactical and operational people agenda in your business area – implementing plans and supporting the business with guidance on all people related matters. As the HR transformation moves along you are expected to;
• drive action when it comes to strategic workforce planning, organizational design and leadership development.
• coach and challenge our leaders in their area of responsibility to get desired results from core people processes.
• consult in change management

About you
To succeed in this role you naturally align with our company culture of Collaboration, Trust and Inclusion and you have a deep understanding of the human software – skilled in the ability to build long-term, trusting relationships – and great teams!
You are structured, with the ability to plan, set priorities and execute on them - catering for long term goals while attending to immediate needs at the same time.
You have the ability to work in a consultative way and have strong communication skills, with proven record of coaching and influencing others into action. Communicating in English comes natural.
As we live in times where change is the only constant, you appreciate working with high flexibility, customer focus and a growth mindset. Realising the power of teamwork and curiosity.
Your academic background is an university degree in HRM or equivalent. Experience of working with HR roles close to business (like, HR BP/HR Manager/Head of HR) is essential – and so is experience from leading others. Skills in Agile working methods will give you a head start and so will business acumen connected to the IT area. Interest in and/or experience from working with D&I as well as team based organizations is highly appreciated.
