Software Engineering is part of the Research & Development function. The daily work within Research & Development (R&D) includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles. We use the latest technologies and advanced methods to develop products that will meet the future.

Are you passionate about the people aspects of building organizational capability? We have an exciting opportunity where we are seeking a Head of People Experience (PX) for Software Engineering who will team up with a group of PX professionals and be a vital part of the newly started Software Development unit. You will join our R&D PX team, reporting to the Head of People Experience for Research & Development.
What you will do
We are looking for someone who excels in a rapidly changing and complex environment. You will have a key role in leading our transformation plans. In this role, you will be a member of the newly created Software Development set-up with a new head of the unit and lead the team of four PX Partners as their people manager.
• You will engage, coach, lead and develop our local team PX partners, to deliver on the people strategy and people plan.
• You will be a key driver in the change journey where you act proactively in collaboration with many stakeholders.
• Drive the business transformation with a focus on PX strategic activities that are influencing the business agenda, leading to e.g. organizational set-up fit for purpose based upon a data-driven workforce plan and competence strategy.
• Develop and support actions linked to improved organizational efficiency and increased performance
• You join an organization that is constantly looking to develop and retain Software talents with highly critical skills.
• You will be facilitating processes and dialogues on employee engagement, retention, career and succession enablement, performance management, and competence development.
• Champion all HR initiatives in the business unit and translate business needs and improvement areas into HR requirements and actions.
You and your skills
We believe that you have a university degree in HR or other equivalent areas with several years of relevant work experience “on the line”. Ideally, you have a few years of leadership experience and experience from a software-driven tech company. You understand what is required to drive change in an organization, and your ability to understand purpose and business objectives and balance the daily operations will be a success factor in this role.
As a person, you have a curious mindset and are open to new solutions and ideas. You have strong integrity and are not afraid to address difficult issues. Of course, you are a true team player, who contributes and communicates with passion and energy. You have a can-do attitude with a strong sense of urgency and delivery and are recognized as a trusted advisor with high integrity and interpersonal savviness. You are an analytical thinker, who enjoys making the best sense of the available data while you’re open to learning new tools and you know how to visualize your key findings for your colleagues and client groups. Last but not least, we believe that you are passionate about making a true difference while challenging yourself and others.
