Role Description
This role is an opportunity for a specialist to put their dent in the future and extensively grow Amuse on the global market. You will be involved in every part of the funnel acquisition activities and acquiring new users who intend to release music (artists, managers, producers) with us. This, combined with developing a strategy to retain these users during their growth journey within Amuse.
In this role, you will manage our six-digit UA budget and help shape and execute the marketing plan to grow the amuse footprint within the global creator community. Plus, you'll stay on top of industry trends and provide insights and recommendations. Ultimately, you will be a part of shaping a team of growth gurus that will reimagine how artists and their teams release music and grow their audience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, improve performance and reach growth targets by increasing releasing artists and growing active subscriptions on our discovery platform.
- Work closely with leadership and product managers across the organization to understand business objectives.
- Own the growth budget, and ensure the highest possible ROI on our user acquisition activities.
- Define, and analyze data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization around markets and the user journey.
- Own and continuously develop our attribution models alone and in collaboration with engineers when needed.
- Be involved in Product-led growth features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute growth initiatives
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of growth and performance efforts, and adjust as necessary.
- Ensure we continuously have the right tracking and technical setup in place.
- Stay up-to-date on the mobile app and web industry trends and developments, provide insights and recommendations and execute.
Qualities and skills you possess:
- A love of numbers and experience with using data to inform decision-making.
- A proven track record of driving growth and improving performance in a business setting, preferably within a VC-backed scale-up. Well-versed in working with performance agencies.
- Capable of developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Have experience in unit economics and building models to calculate ROI, LTV, and more.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- The ability to lead and manage a team of growth specialists.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, including inspiring and motivating team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that help you convey your vision both internally and externally.
- An analytical, creative, and data-driven mindset that can envision anything while running cost-efficient, iterative tests to ensure your ideas work.
- A natural love for music with a good understanding of the music ecosystem.
- Bonus points if you have experience in the music industry, but it's not a deal breaker
