PEU RAN Performance is the R&D team that secures that Ericsson maintains and gains RAN market share through world leading Network Performance, winning benchmark activities and be being recognized by operators as delivering the best performing networks.
The PEU has design ownership for 5G Baseband SW products and is a global organization located mainly in Kista, Lund, Beijing, Austin and Ottawa.
We are now looking for a Manager for Technology Management. You will lead a global software development team of ca 15 professionals across sites Kista and Ottawa with the overall technical responsibility for the Baseband SW.

What you will do
Lead and inspire a team of about 15 senior engineers to secure world class excellence in BB SW and ensure that Ericsson stays Technology leader in the area.
Build and maintain a deep understanding of the SW and HW future of telecom and make sure it is reflected in the strategies and priorities of the organization.
BB Module owner including eg responsibility for BB SW architecture, Product security, test strategy, technical evolution, quality of the product.


You will bring
Sound product development experience and leading global large development teams, with a demonstrated passion for development and especially the development “craft”.
Strong technical knowledge to have the needed credibility with our teams, our customers and suppliers.
Experience in developing evolving technologies.
Strategic and big picture thinking with the ability to focus on delivering on your contribution to Network R&D today and into the future.
Thrives on accountability, overcoming challenges with a can-do attitude and motivated to achieve beyond expectations.
Collaborates by default and looks to work together rather than compete.
Authentic, courageous and inspiring leadership with empathy and humanness, whilst building successful teams and growing tomorrow’s leaders.

Relevant tertiary qualification or commensurate working experience.

Primary location for this role: Kista, Sweden.
